What Do I think of Rob
I can honestly say that I think Rob's life is very interesting, but at the same time I feel like his character is a bit pathetic. If he has to make top ten lists about music, breakups, and just about everything else in his life, then that is just sad. But, at the same time I think that these lists make him what he is. Without all of these breakups, he would not be what he is. He keeps on looking back on other breakups, when he should be over them by now, especially if they were when he was 13! All of his relationships are very much like his first break up, with Alison Ashworth, because he doesn't really know how to go into a relationship. He goes into some with too much care, trying to stay together with Sarah because they both hate relationships, and then he cares too much and worries. If he just let go of all his worries with one woman and wasn't always trying so hard, then maybe he wouldn't feel the need to make top ten lists. I really want to sympathize with Rob, but I really think that these issues with relationships could be avoided if he didn't try to hard to make a big deal of all these breakups with lists.

This is actually one of the reasons that this book interests me so much.... I don't find the main character to be very sympathetic, but I'm still very interested in how things turn out for him.
