Rob's Discovery

Basically the whole reason why Rob talked to his ex-girlfriends was to find out what went wrong in the relationships. He did this so that he could try to avoid the mistakes that he made in his past relationships. He starts off by talking to Allison, who now lives in Australia, it turns out that she never even told her parents about him. I think he thought this was significant to interview her, since this was his first break-up. He then talks to penny and she tells him that he was the one who actually dumped her and not the other way around, and this makes Rob feel a little bit better. The he interviews Jackie, who is actually married to Phil, and they seem to be the only ones who are able to give Rob some advice on making long term relationships work. Then he comes across Sarah, who was the one who dumped him because she decided that she actually did want a relationship. Rob just wanted to find out what went wrong in the end, and Sarah does not give him what he is looking for, instead she was saying how big of a mistake she made. The single person who gave Rob his best advice turned out to be his worst breakup, Charlie. I think that this only makes sense, since he would be more likely to listen to Charlie, rather than Penny and Allison. This is a big step for Rob, maybe he will learn more about how to keep a decent relationship going.
