High Fidelity Movie

The movie was very similar to the novel, with only a few aspects missing. The way Rob and Laura get back together is a bit different, and the movie left out one of Rob's breakups, Jackie Allen. I think that if this was included in the movie, it would make Rob look like an even bigger jerk.I was surprised to see this, because Rob wanted this relationship really bad, and I wanted to see it portrayed in the movie. I liked the movie, but at times I thought that it was almost exactly like the book. I usually don't like this in movies, but in this case it seems to fit. I like how they kept a lot of the same aspects of the book, except for the fact that it was set in Chicago instead of London. That was really the only key aspect that they left out, and I think it could have been just as effective if it was set in London. I liked the movie, and I liked this book.
